A surface where warmth, light and material converge through layered craft.
Golden Finish – Bespoke Plasterwork for Luxury Interiors
This golden finish was developed for private luxury interiors and high-end hotel environments and executed on site by Rob van der Plas. The surface is built up through multiple hand-applied plaster layers, creating depth, tonal variation and a restrained sense of warmth rather than overt shine.

Handcrafted Golden Plaster Surface with Depth and Subtle Reflection
The golden character does not originate from a metallic coating, but from the layered plaster structure itself. Pigments and mineral components interact within the material, allowing the surface to respond subtly to light and movement. The result is a finish that shifts between matte depth and gentle reflection, depending on lighting and spatial conditions.
On-Site Plaster Application for Private and Hospitality Interiors
Each golden finish is developed in direct relation to its interior context. Existing substrates are carefully assessed before application to ensure suitability and long-term performance. Where necessary, renewal of the plaster base is proposed to guarantee material stability and durability.
Bespoke Plasterwork Defined by Craftsmanship and Architectural Integration
This golden finish is materially integrated into the interior rather than applied as decoration. It is designed to support architectural rhythm and atmosphere in private residences and luxury hotels, where longevity, surface integrity and craftsmanship are essential.
