Blue marmorino

Blue marmorino is a bespoke plaster wall by Rob van der Plas, built up in multiple hand-applied layers. The surface reveals depth, movement and tonal variation, created through a controlled plaster process rather than paint.

Hand-crafted signature

As with all of his work, the finish carries a distinct hand-crafted signature. Subtle shifts in colour, texture and reflection emerge from the layering, giving the wall a sense of spatial depth that changes with light and viewing angle.

Craftsmanship

Blue marmorino is developed as a one-off surface, tailored to its architectural context, where material, rhythm and craftsmanship are central rather than decorative effect.
