The company Art Ferro was established by Rob Van der Plas, he became well known by designing unique materials and applications techniques which he formed into unequalled wall-decorations. The effect of his creations are very surprising. Mainly he works with imported raw materials out of Italy, United States, England and Belgium. Finishing with stainless steel handtools he can control the level of sheen, color and texture each requires. The materials are applied on a surface of plasterwork, dry wall or even on wood.
He is committed in working with the architect, designer or client. Before final approval and execution he works with an on site process of sample boards and mock up panels in which he creates the right finish they choose for their project
Art Ferro is being created by a small group of plaster artisans wich take great pride in each piece they finish. It is a whole new form of art which belongs into the elite group of wall-decorations.
